Emergency attendance and permanent restoration should be separate line items when both are needed.

Ask when the number becomes firm. A contractor may sell a defined diagnostic opening followed by a priced repair, or a base repair with controlled concealed-damage allowances. Choose the proposal that connects those eight decisions to one defined assembly and one price structure. A small visible opening can support a small durable repair, but only when surrounding material, concealed layers, access, and compatibility allow it.
